Construction of Classrooms & Laboratory

Construction of Classrooms, Laboratory, & Computer rooms in secondary school at Uttar Bunyadi school, Dajipura village, Sindhrot, District Vadodara. A preliminary needs assessment was undertaken in coordination with the school administration and teaching staff to identify critical gaps affecting students learning conditions and overall well-being. The review highlighted insufficient classroom infrastructure, including damaged smart boards, torn curtains, and limited access to clean drinking water. Stakeholder discussions further emphasized the need for functional sanitation facilities and enhance digital learning tools to support a conducive academic environment.

CSR PROJECT AT SHRI SARASWATI VIDYA MANDIR, ASOJ

A CSR Project in association with our member Rtn Nilesh Patel was carried out at Shri Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Asoj. The school building was in a very bad shape, it was demolished, and a new school was built facilitating 4 classrooms for Std 9th, 10th, a laboratory room, an office, and washrooms. Handover ceremony was held there on 26th January in the presence of the CSR donor, Rtn Nilesh Patel and his family. A team from our club was also present to witness the joy on the faces of the trustees, the teachers, and the children.

RYLA at The Complete System

On 13th December, our club organised a RYLA program at TCS School, Fatehgunj, Vadodara. The session was led by our club trainer, and the District Secretary, Rtn. Rajiv Maniar, who engaged the 11th standard students on several life-changing topics. The program was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and joy from the students. Impressed by the impact, the school management immediately requested us to conduct similar RYLA sessions for the 10th and 12th standard students at the earliest.

Organised science fair in association with DCF

In collaboration with the Dabhoi Community Foundation (DCF), a Science Fair was successfully organised in Dabhoi last month. The event brought together 300 underprivileged children, aged 12–17, from nearby villages, who proudly showcased 35 innovative projects. Their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on all present, as many of the exhibits offered simple yet powerful solutions to some of the world’s most complex challenges. The fair not only highlighted the immense potential of young minds but also inspired hope for a brighter, more sustainable future.

Strengthening of pre-school education Community Service

Strengthening of pre-school education

RC Baroda Metro reaches out to the remote villages in Dabhoi Taluka of Vadodara district. We identified the communities which were facing difficulties in educating their children. Parents were encouraged to send their wards to school. School building infrastructures were assessed and necessary building, renovation, repairs were done, educators were deployed and we appointed staff to permanently monitor the school activities, to ensure that the children keep getting basic education.

Workbook distribution in Vadodara District Community Service

Workbook distribution in Vadodara District

Rotary Club of Baroda Metro has designed educational workbooks for school children of Bal Vatika, and we are distributing these workbooks to various schools of Vadodara District in Vadodara and Padra Taluka. This year, under the donation from M/s Grand Polycoats Company Pvt. Ltd., 11000 workbooks were distributed to 5500 Students of Balvatika operated by Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan, and primary schools of Padra Taluka, during July 2025.
